Troy Edwards - Managing Director & Principal

As the principal at Secure FS Ltd it is my responsibility to oversee the everyday management and ensure all clients are receiving the best possible outcomes. My responsibilities lie in the regulatory areas ensuring we adhere to all financial regulation, running the business the right way and ensuring all clients leave satisfied.

As well as this, I am responsible for providing mortgage and protection advice to new and existing clients.

I have been in the mortgage industry since 2013 when I started as a customer service assistant in high street building society branches. From there I moved into a senior customer service role and then onto a training and development role within the same business. In 2017 I moved to one of the UK's leading specialist lenders as a trainer. There I was responsible for providing training on all elements of back office processes in the mortgage cycle, mainly underwriting. In 2020 the world changed as we knew it when Covid struck. Lots of people re-evaluated their lifestyles and I was one. I had been wanting to start Secure FS for several years and never found the right time. Here it was! I founded the business with one sole aim... to provide solid, genuine and customer focused advice which would lead to clients understanding their mortgage recommendations.

Outside of work, life is quite simple. Any spare time is spent with my family. That consists of me, my wife and 3 young daughters. I may occasionally find time to grace the golf course with my presence, but not quite as much as I'd like. Football is a huge passion of mine, although more of a spectating role these days.

We will charge a fee for our advice service which will depend on what mortgage you need, your financial circumstances, and the complexity of what you want. The amount of fee will be between £0 and 1% of the value you need to borrow up to a maximum of £2,000. For example, if your mortgage was £250,000 the maximum fee you would pay would be £2,000.
You need to pay the fee when when you get your offer/when you get your mortgage. Any fee paid is non-refundable, but will be transferred to the next application.
